Fire Safety Audits are a necessary compliance tool in the kit of a modern Fire Safety Practitioner. In the main, there are two types of audit in the world of fire safety in Australia.

The Annual Fire Safety Statement (including Supplementary statements and Fire Certificates).

This is prepared once a year on behalf of a company who has a duty to inform the Fire Brigade and Local Council that the Fire Safety Measures installed within their building are still meeting the criteria that they were originally designed to do. So once a year our inspectors will visit and check the validity of these measures and make the liaison with the Authorities on your behalf.

The BCA Audit, is designed to go right back to basics. You may need to know the status of fire safety within your building for a number of different reasons, some of which may include the fact that you are having some structural alterations carried out, or you may even have to register a ‘Change of Use’ for the building; In which case you will also need a new DA from the Local Council. In these and many other instances, you will need a Building Codes of Australia (BCA) audit carried out to satisfy the Council and Fire Brigade of the buildings status in fire safety. We can carry out these audits and liaise with the Authorities on your behalf.

The BCA Audit covers some sixty four (64) different elements of fire safety.
